“Hi,” Agatha said, finally breaking the silence.
“Hey.” They gave each other a flash of their own smile like it wasn't something they hadn't seen for a very long time.
“What are you doing here?” Rio's brow knotted in frustration by Agatha's question.
“Why aren't you dancing with the beautiful ladies out here on the dancefloor?”
Her expression softened in Agatha's words.
“Well, because I already am.”
“You must be so blind then,” Agatha retorted. “Glasses are a thing these days love, even people with good vision wears them.”
Rio grinned at that. Love.
“You must be so lucky then,” Rio counters, “to be dancing around with a woman like me.” Rio hoped to earn that beautiful snort from Agatha, instead a warm smile bloomed in Agatha's face.
“Yeah. I’m so lucky,” Agatha sounded soft as she smiled up to Rio.

But it's weird because minutes pass and she still doesn't feel like she can move, doesn't want things to change from the way they are now. She catches Rio, eyes glassy and zoned out looking at her mouth, and so to take unwanted attention from herself, Agatha brings her thumb in close to their lips, intends for them to take it deep into their mouth, but instead, all they do is press the softest of kisses to the pad of it.
"What are you thinking about?"
It takes Rio a moment to answer. Not that Agatha minds much—entirely focused on how right Rio feels inside her, even when they're not fucking her. Like some sort of fucked up missing puzzle piece.
"Your mouth."

Rio sat cross-legged on the bed, yellow dinosaur-print boxers bright against the dark bedding. They looked up, and that wide, irrepressible smile spread across their face—the one Agatha had learned was reserved only for her. Agatha’s gaze did a lazy sweep over Rio’s nearly bare form, landing on the ridiculous pattern. “Don’t tell me this is your favorite type of dinosaur,” she said, nodding toward the boxers.
Rio’s laugh came low and easy. “Okay, I won’t tell you that.”
Agatha blinked at her. Seriously? A T-Rex? She rolled her eyes, though there was no annoyance behind them. “This is not even the strongest kind,” she argued, because honestly, there were dozens of worthier dinosaurs.
“And?” Rio’s tone was utterly unimpressed. “I like this one.” She tugged at the waistband, as if pointing out the evidence might close the case.
Agatha clicked her tongue, shook her head, and crossed the remaining space to the bed. “You’re such a nerd,” she said, sliding easily into Rio’s lap and straddling her.

Rio Vidal is in her last year of grad school and just wants to get through it as fast as she can, so she can finally start her life in the real world. The only issue is that she's put off taking the required creative selective she needs to complete her degree until the last possible moment.
Enter guest professor and famous author Agatha Harkness whose seminar Rio signed up for thinking it would be the easiest route. What Rio hadn't taken into consideration though, was the effect her professor was going to have on her.
As Agatha pushes and challenges Rio in ways she never thought possible, Rio slowly comes to the conclusion that maybe signing up for the creative writing 101 seminar is one of the best decision she ever made.
