“See you around,” Karl agreed, already tugging Sapnap away.
Wilbur waved them goodbye. “I’ll be sure to give Quackity a kiss for you.”
The two had already been leaving, eager to get away from Wilbur as soon as possible. But the second the last word left his lips, Sapnap froze. Slowly, he turned to face Wilbur, a strange combination of danger, anger and jealousy in his eyes.
“What?” Sapnap asked lowly, darkly.

[This isn't based on the album Pebble Brain but it fits the lyrics and I need chapter titles]
A not-so-fun highschool AU where everything goes wrong for everyone.Wilbur starts to fall for a certain student council vice president, but romance isn't as easy as he would have liked. Especially when his newfound crush is clinging to the threads of a relationship that's so obviously doomed. As much as he wants to save him, is it really worth the price?
Tommy's first year of school hasn't been going too well. He feels like a small fish in a big pond, but he's never been one to accept getting pushed around. Maybe he bit off more than he could chew, and maybe his snarky attitude isn't helping him climb the social ladder.
Karl does his best to avoid drama, and it's one of the reasons he and Sapnap are considered the school's power couple. They're like a beacon of hope amongst the angst and highschool bullshit; like an unshakeable foundation for their peers. Even when Sap kept things from him, he didn't really mind. After all, secrets never hurt anybody.

At this, Quackity just shrugs. Yeah, he writes, all untidy, his handwriting a series of disjointed lines and dots and scuffles in the sand below them. So what?
And Wilbur—
Wilbur thinks he might like that, just a little bit.
Wilbur is L'manberg's prince and first in line to the throne, and his whole life is perfectly lined up in front of him. At least, it is until Quackity shows up on the beach with eyes full of stars and an attitude he's never seen directed towards him.
