He was 16 years old, only in sophomore year when sirens went off, and the school was placed into lockdown, and of course Peter snuck out of the classroom and pulled on his suit, and swung towards the wreckage already being caused.
He wasn’t a hero.
But he was a vigilante.
He was Spider-Man.

Peter fights in The Battle of New York. He stays for hours afterwards, even though the Avengers don't.

Discouraged after so much teasing, Izuku goes out into the desert to practice by himself. His snake charming still isn't working- not on the snake at least. The naga that's followed his song, however, is much more captivated by his gift.
