    Summary

When Tommy was hungry, he would crouch in the underbrush and wait for a rabbit to come by, shooting it with an arrow before spitting it over a small campfire.

When he was tired, he would rest against a tree or maybe climb into one for the night.

When he was lonely or scared or sad, he had no solution. Walking through the forest alone was better than being tortured by Dream, better than a pool of lava or a tall tower of dirt blocks, he reasoned. And he was only a temporary forest-man. Still, the quiet grated on his ears.

An AU in which Tommy runs away from not only Dream but the entire SMP, finding a new life and peace (and maybe an orphan who needs a home). When he's forced out of hiding seven years later, he's a changed man

    Summary

Two weeks into his first semester at university, Tommy is unceremoniously expelled. He returns home in shame.

But it's not just his actions that throw their family into upheaval— what really does the trick is Wilbur, also returning home from a budding career in Los Angeles, purely because of Tommy's mistakes. As Techno and Phil struggle to find their footing in a house that has suddenly reunited, the four of them attempt to become a family once more.

    Summary

“That’s not fair,” Bad protests. Dream raises an eyebrow at him and jerks his tied hands in emphasis, clearly saying that none of this is fair.

“Look, you keep running! Who runs if they’re not guilty?” Bad challenges, staring him down with obvious distrust from the generous distance of exactly five feet. It’s fair, as much as Dream hates to admit it; it’s not like he’s been the most honest hostage in the past, with all of his escaping and running and framing himself for his own murder, apparently.

“Only the good die young, and only the guilty run,” Technoblade chimes in, holding his own potato and sitting in the snow like it’s not cold at all.

A hot flash of irritation burns through him.

“Someone being chased?” he counters sarcastically, jerking his tied wrists up again to wave them in front of the group. Sapnap laughs so hard that he almost chokes on his potato, but it dies off when Dream gives him an icy stare.

Or: Dream is having a hard time, and the hunter just want to adopt him like a stray puppy that bites you at every opportunity.

Tommy hails from a broken household. He's spent his adolescent years watching his family and friends become people he didn't know. Amidst clouds of smoke and pools of booze, he has the sobering realization that he's changing, too. Maybe, far from home and the things that hurt, he can force himself to stunt his growth.

    Summary

This house, so big and expensive, was never supposed to take someone like him in- a house like this is meant for the nice children with good records and perfectly pleasant attitudes towards absolutely everything, even dog shit. It wasn't in the request forms that Phil had filled out, but it was just how foster kids were grouped sometimes; the good kids get the good houses, and kids like Tommy weren't even allowed in the neighborhood's vicinity. Him ending up here was never supposed to happen; there’d been some misplaced paperwork, and Tommy had ended up on Phil’s doorstep with a bad attitude and thunder in his expression, fully expecting to be sent away the second the man caught a look at the bruise on his jaw and the rage on his face. But he only opened the door further and told Tommy that they'd get it all sorted out in a few days. He'd naturally assumed that 'sorted out' meant sending him back, and had never fully unpacked in the days that he'd stayed; he mainly kept to his room, in the interest of not pissing off the nice man who hadn't left him outside like a lot of others had done. Tommy was never meant to stay.

Or: Tommy will throw down at any time for any reason and everyone knows it.
