    There’s an expression on Jaekyung’s face that Dan doesn’t think he’s ever seen, and he doesn’t really know what to make of it. It’s some kind of cross between awe and disbelief, and his scent mimics those emotions, wrapping around Dan like a protective shroud. His eyes are narrowed and sharp before his brows raise in realization and his eyes go wide, moving over Dan’s face quickly while he still scents the air. Is Jaekyung sensing something wrong with him? He knows Jaekyung is unusually perceptive about these things, but what could he be so worried about?

    “Jaekyung, what’s-“

    “You’re pregnant.”

    *This is originally a 2011-2016 fic, OG posted on fanfic net! I just happened to spot a review over there on Thanksgiving exactly 9 years before, and it gave me a giggle. So, ive decided to keep writing the fic. Please excuse the writing, considering it started in 2011 :)

    Chu Wanning hasn't been doing well lately, for some reason. Ever since that time him and Mo Ran had post-argument shower sex, to be exact. Not that the correlation would click in his mind, given that he's on birth control.
    Yet, when his health declines more and more, both him and Mo Ran are forced to face the inevitable: the breeding kink isn't just a kink anymore. Chu Wanning is pregnant.
    (Well, at least he's not dying, which they had previously thought might be the case!)
    Chaos ensues.

    “The clouds don’t let us see the stars,” Mo Ran says letting the annoyance in his voice bleed through. Per usual, there is no reply from Chu Wanning. There’s nothing forcing him to reply. Mo Ran grumbles and buries his face against Chu Wanning who stares up at the falling snow.
    They remain like that for a long time.
    “Mo Ran,” Chu Wanning suddenly says. His voice is rough from illness, but in the silence of snow it rumbles through Mo Ran.
    “Hm?” Mo Ran replies in surprise.
    “She’s moving.”

    Chu-fei is pregnant yet still deeply defiant. He won't tell Taxian-jun when he feels the baby kick or if he feels ill. It means Taxian-jun must take the onus of Chu-fei's delicate health upon himself and watch him with the intensity of a dog.

    After ten years in which the investigation arrests the followers of the cult that saw Kim Dan as a blessing to be used by alphas, the omega lives in Seoul waiting for the moment when everything would be safe to go after Jaekyung, since the cult threatened to kill Jaekyung if Dan didn't obey what they wanted. Over the years, however, many things have changed. Minus one of them. Dan never stopped loving Joo Jaekyung, waiting so he could explain the lie he used to keep him safe.

    Ten years later, Dan has followed all the interviews and the rise of Jaekyung, who has become an intimidating fighter, but their reunion will awaken many questions and pain from the past.
