Summary
After a long day of work, Lottie helps Natalie decompress.
Natalie laughs. “I have three deadlines coming up.”
“I know,” Lottie leans in closer again, reaching over to close Natalie’s laptop, pushing it away from her. “You’ve been working so hard.” She coos.
Natalie leans into it despite herself, head dropping forward, shoulders loosening just enough to let the tension bleed out under Lottie’s hands. The slow circles along her neck and shoulders make her exhale in something close to relief, and when Lottie’s fingers slip lower, under her shirt, pressing into the hard knots near her shoulder blades, she lets out a low, unguarded sound.
