This felt like the kind of friend that Buffy wanted to make. She considered her next move very carefully. Fishing a pencil out of her bag, she leaned across the top of Brie’s desk, then wrote in careful, precise, upside-down lettering: can I sit with you at lunch? :)
Brie looked up and beamed. She glanced furtively at their homeroom teacher, then scribbled her response: Yes Absolutely!!!

Summary
At age fourteen, Kurusu Akira kills the only cognitive psientist to object to Shido’s methods under the latter’s orders. His hand doesn’t tremble as he pulls the trigger, but his heart breaks. Still, it’s worth it. It’s the first step towards freedom, and more importantly, his revenge.
Two years later, cursed child Akechi Goro is caught shoplifting, and after a brief chase gets slammed into the pavement by three police officers double his size. The only reason he can't slip out of their grasp is because he hasn't eaten in three days. It earns him a one-way ticket to Tokyo.
(Or, Akechi leads the Phantom Thieves of Hearts while Akira is the Detective Prince. Despite that change, however, Crow is still Crow, and Joker is still Joker.)

Summary
SPOILERS FOR LATE SEPTEMBER
When she is twelve years old, Rella Cygnus is given a terrible task--the assassination of the king. The curse she casts doesn't quite kill him, but it lingers and lasts and wears him down. In the aftermath, as the King is confined to bedrest and increasingly isolated from court, the Prince is left to navigate the politics of a court that sees him as an inconvenient hurdle to be overcome.
The Prince is six years old, with a hunger for books, a habit for getting into places he shouldn't, and an increasingly odd collection of friends.
It seems like a pretty fair fight.
