It was supposed to be a normal day. Well, no, not really. Something was off. I couldn’t explain it. It wasn’t part of my usual routine, and I’m not the kind of person who just decides to go on a late-night walk. Especially not for something as mundane as a convenience store run. I knew for a fact I could’ve done it in the morning. But instead? It felt like something—some force—was dragging me out the door, keeping me wide awake until I got it done.
