James was halfway through meal prep for the week when his phone started ringing.
“Regulus?” He answered.
There was a pause.
“Uh, no. It’s me”
James blinked.
“Barty?”
“Unfortunately, yes. I think you should come pick up Regulus”
James straightened immediately.
“Why? What happened?”
Barty sighed.
“He accidentally stepped on a snail”
James stared at the wall.
“…He what?”
“He stepped on a snail,” Barty repeated patiently “By accident. He’s been crying about it for the last twenty minutes in the middle of the pavement, and now I think we’re organizing a funeral”
James closed his eyes.
“You cannot be serious”

Summary
Regulus and James' fans aren't used to not seeing them going live together for so long, so it only seems fitting to assume they broke up, right?
They couldn't be more wrong.(or regulus and james stopped going on live together and regulus has been more inactive lately, so people starts to think that they broke up, until regulus appears in the background of james' live with a very clear baby bump)
