"Hey Ren, do me a favour, will ya'?" Martyn asked, nudging Ren's shoulder as he wove flowers and vines into a little flower crown. "When we both go out of this series, I want you to swear to the ██████ that one day, we'll see each other again."
"The...who?" Ren asked, confused. He's never heard that word before, something so strangely familiar yet unsettlingly otherworldly, like its not meant for...ears like his.
"She-She's our Goddess, in a sense. Well, mine." Martyn laughed. "Just-do me this one favour, yeah? It's not much. I'm just...scared we won't be able to...see each other again."
Ren watched him weave another flower into his little crown. "Y...yeah. I can do that. I can do that for you."
Martyn smiled, and placed the flower crown on Ren's head. "Thank you, m'lord."
