Summary
D-Corp, a group that presents themselves as defenders of the people, has taken control of the government and begun a crusade against those with powers. Rising up to meet them is the Resistance, who's slogan is "break the system." Their main objective seems to be to gain control of the mysterious Project Golden, convinced it is the key to bringing down D-Corp.
Taehyung is seven when he's taken from his poor farmer parents as a tribute for the Cypher gang. By the time he's fifteen he's spent years as a mindless tool, trained only to kill and obey. He's left to die when he finally fights back. It's Yoongi who saves him and gives him a life worth living. A few years later he joins the resistance and begins to feel like he's finally found a new family and purpose. Then they find the boy, and suddenly his whole world is in danger again. Taehyung would do anything to keep it safe and wants nothing more than to get rid of the threat the kid represents. But how is he supposed to ignore someone who's been raised to be used as a weapon just like he once was? And when he finds out what his own side in the war plans to use the boy for he realizes he has to take a stand that might leave him facing more than just D-Corp in this war.

Summary
In a world where Jason Todd survives Ethiopia, Tim Drake still finds a way to help Batman by surveilling Gotham rogues and anonymously informing to the Bats and Oracle. It's a delicate balance, to help the world's greatest detective without drawing too much of his attention, but Tim can't risk Batman discovering his parents' very illegal collection of ancient artifacts.
At least, until his parents begin behaving strangely and Tim's investigation finds him at the center of a plot that threatens the entire city. The only way to save Gotham is for Tim to reach Batman, but doing so means losing everything he knows.
