Summary
While studying abroad in Greece, the reader enters the ruins of a temple on a dare only for its floor to collapse beneath them, sending him hurtling into the abyss. They wind up in the Underworld badly injured and make their way to the river Styx. At the river's dock, the sudden appearance of the Stygian Ferryman Charon startles the reader enough to make him fall into the crimson waters. The Styx heals the reader's injuries and change comes to the Realm of Hades once again.
