Tommy squeezes his eyes shut tight, a pressure building in his chest. He wants to cry. He wants to go home. This was a mistake.
His communicator buzzes.
Dream: you've got sap on your left on his own and Ponk + Sam on your right. Sap isn't looking, too busy building. Sam and ponk are also easy – they're not armed.
or, since Tommy's family can't be in this MCC, his team is a little lack-luster in terms of communication and general caring about Tommy's well-being. Thank God he's got Dream's help to get him through.
