Summary
Christine is ballet student who has lost her father and has been neglected by her abusive mother. At the age of 15, she's already tormented by ennui and she has abandoned all her hopes and dreams for her future. In fact, she is almost sure she's destined to spend the rest of her life unnoticed and alone.
Erik is a very rich, very bored businessman who just happens to notice her. He becomes obsessed with the idea of protecting her from the cruel world that awaits her. He pretends to be a friend of her late father as an excuse to help her, but he soon realizes being her benefactor is not enough: he must have her to himself.Inspired by “A Question Of Time” by Depeche Mode.
