Seokjin never expected to have a soulmate. He was perfectly fine living his life in complete musical silence—until one fateful day, a stranger played the piano, and the world changed forever.
Now, his life is a disaster. There’s music, there’s mystery, there’s a very attractive pianist who keeps running away from him (rude), and worst of all—there are feelings. Gross.
As Seokjin tries to make sense of the universe’s ridiculous matchmaking skills, he finds himself tangled in late-night conversations, terrible jokes, and a melody that remains unfinished. But the closer he gets to the truth, the more he realizes… maybe some songs aren’t meant to have a happy ending.

Seokjin kicks a stone in frustration, throws the jacket with so much force that he doesn’t even see where it lands. “Fuck, if at least one thing would go right in my life!”
“If you stopped throwing your shit at people then maybe it would. They do say what goes around comes around.”
Seokjin looks up at the source of the sound interrupting his pity party for himself. Advice isn't what he currently wants to jam his brain with. Most of all, not when the insinuation is that he has his own shit smeared all over his life. What he sees in the half-lit street is a lump of leather, dark hair, pale white skin.
“Are you a fucking ghost?”

Kim Seokjin’s bakery is open at midnight, his bread is rumored to be magic, and Min Yoongi thinks everyone is ridiculous for believing it.
Yoongi just wanted a late-night snack to fuel his creative block, not a baker who insists on smiling at him like that. Definitely not a baker who keeps “coincidentally” showing up everywhere Yoongi goes.
