Summary
After killing the Butcher of Baltimore, Neil Josten officially became Neil's name. The Witness Protection System took care of everything, even paying Neil's hospital bills so he could recover from his last meeting with his father. They must have thought of Neil as a freak though, because they chose Foxhole City for the boy's new beginning, the city which was known for being mystical with creatures living in the woods nearby. Some people swore they saw monsters amidst trees, so logically those responsible for Neil's relocation would have placed him with his keen. Free of his days on the run, Neil slowly learned how to be the closest he could to a 'normal teenager'. However, since Neil didn't know what to expect, surely it was okay to meet said creatures, right? And it was certainly fine to befriend them. Right? Whatever, it was his thing now.
