Summary
“Dude, single dudes get drafted for this, you know the rules,” Scratch says.
“It’s all single dudes because it gives the women who bid the ridiculous idea that they might bag a hockey player at the end of it,” Joey says. “That doesn’t apply to me anymore, so.”
“Don’t remember there being a rule that only women could bid,” Scratch says. “Maybe you’ll meet a nice boy.”
“Oh, fuck off, Scratch,” Joey says when he waggles his eyebrows.

Summary
And as he pours one of the men a drink, he wonders, in the back of his mind, what unlucky sap will be selected to endure the ministrations of five lechers. He soon receives his answer, and the air seemingly goes still.
"Unfortunately, Sawyer will not be able to join us tonight, so the main event this evening will be none other than Daniel."
Daniel releases a gasp that goes unnoticed by the guests, but the way his hand jolts doesn't, as the wine spills and seeps into the white tablecloth. His lips tremble open to protest the moment the men before him turn on each other like savage beasts, arguing, he reckons, to see who has the privilege of laying their hands on him first. The display makes his stomach churn.

Archer Hargrove is throwing another one of his "galas." It's a depraved sort of celebration for reasons unknown, in which he invites an ensemble of his closest colleagues to have their way with one of his most willing and obedient servants. The usual choice for this role is out of commission, so Archer chooses his newest servant (who usually does nothing but clean and serve the banquet) as a replacement.

Summary
“Suppose I walked you to your car,” I’d said.
“Suppose you came for dinner.”
“Suppose I did.”
The exchange had been coy, lightly drunk and teasing. But then Oliver’s supplicated, “Please, Elio,” had become the difference maker.
Or - What happens if Elio does go to dinner at Oliver's house. And why was Elio at Oliver's university in the first place?
