Steve turned to face him fully. Danny saw it in the set of his jaw, the way his throat worked, the terrible resolve gathering behind his eyes. And he knew, immediately, that Steve was going to say something. Something irrevocable. Something that would abso-fucking-lutely destroy the already fragile pretense he had been clinging to.
"Danny, I—"
"Did I say you could talk?" Danny's voice cracked like a whip, too sharp, the edges fraying with panic. "I'm not done. Drive. Keep your eyes on the road and your mouth shut."
Steve blinked. "But—"
"I said mouth shut." Danny's hands were trembling, but he made his face hard, made his eyes angry, because if Steve saw even a fraction of what was underneath—if he knew how close Danny was to breaking—he wouldn't stop. He'd keep talking, and Danny would have to hear it, and he couldn't. He absolutely couldn't. "One more word and I'm getting out of this car. Right here."
Danny Williams is excellent at denials. Steve McGarrett is not.

Summary
Kings Medical is the largest hospital on the Hawaiian islands. As such, it is home to many forms of treatment, from pediatrics all the way to full body triage.
Dr. Daniel Williams is one of Kings’ leading trauma doctors, along side his work wife and partner in crime, Dr. Malia Waincroft. While he initially moved to Hawaii to be closer to his daughter, he found a love for the people and the culture here (even if he didn’t fully understand it, at first), and has since called Hawaii home.
Lieutenant Commander Steven McGarrett is a United States Navy SEAL who is currently the head of Hawaii’s Five-0 Task Force, an extension of the Office of the Governor of Hawaii. His job—and by extension, his team—investigate major crimes that are committed across the Hawaiian islands, particularly Oahu and its surrounding areas. Steve’s investigations are both dangerous and deadly, with many of their cases causing an influx of patients at Kings Medical Center, ranging from innocent civilians to serial killers.
This story offers a glimpse into the lives of a man whose job literally puts him in the line of fire on a daily basis, and the man responsible for keeping him and others like him alive.

It was hot when Rozanov lost his English in the middle of their hookups, and usually seemed encouraging, but there was always some part of Shane that wondered, or more so worried, what exactly he was thinking about. He forced his focus back to what he was doing, but then stopped. It sounded like Rozanov was saying bullshit? Bullshit?
“Is okay?” Rozanov asked, brows scrunched, "I hurt you?”
Shane shook his head.
“Is too much?” he asked, his eyes worried, brows still knit together.
“No.” Shane stared back, no it wasn’t too much, it was never too much. “I want.. more.”
