Summary
Danny is the youngest child of two directors of the GIW. When he temporarily dies in an accident in their lab, they sweep it under the rug quickly, since he seems to have no physical side-effects other than miraculously painless Lichtenberg figure scarring across his skin. They're so enamored with their greatest life's work operating as it should; their little son being ecto-contaminated enough for their inventions to notice him is an afterthought. Meanwhile, Danny is increasingly concerned with the unearthly ways his physiology changes, one of them being the gnawing hunger that mere human food cannot satisfy. Things move fast, enemies are made (but also allies), and brutal battles are fought. He's not gonna be the same person by the end of the year.

Summary
In freshman year of high school, Danny pulled away from his friends without explanation.
At sixteen, he disappeared. Sam and Tucker presumed him dead. His parents insisted he was taken by ghosts.
As young adults, they run into him in Gotham, of all places. It's a stroke of luck that brings their best friend back to them.
If only it was that easy for the Bats to find the god damn engineer that's been running circles around them while they try to track him down.
Tim's not sure what he'll do first when he finally finds the brilliant bastard - kiss him or punch his teeth in.

Danny’s looking at him like he’s crazy. His hair’s dried up into a mess of waves, and there’s some tomato seeds on the corner of his mouth. “You just bailed me out of jail. And you think this is a good idea?”
“I don’t have bad ideas, Fenton. And like you’ve just said, I have collateral on you.”
“So you’re blackmailing me into pretending to date you?”
Tim shrugs. “Or you could just sign the NDA.”

Danny's trying to recover all the shards to an entity's chalice so that it'll stop destroying the zone while tensions rise amongst his subjects- and trying to finish high school.
Tim's juggling his case load, his work as CEO, and does not have time to be embroiled in a sex scandal right now. If that means he has to pretend to date a very suspicious heir to a rival company, then so be it.
It's a mutually beneficial relationship. So what if Tim's becoming a little too intrigued by the illusive, powerful Phantom? So what if Danny can't stand the Justice League for leaving him to deal with all of Amity's problems when he was just 14? That's a superhero thing.
And their fake boyfriend has no clue that they're a superhero.

Summary
For years, Danny Fenton grew up in a household obsessed with ghosts, yet for all the proclamations his parents made of being ghost hunters, Danny had never seen one for himself. All he had were vague descriptions and a dormant portal hidden away in his basement.
Until now.
The portal, after several years of failed attempts, had finally succeeded in ripping a tear in reality. The only problem was that Danny happened to be standing in the tear when it opened. Now the 16-year-old finds himself imbued with supernatural powers far beyond his understanding as spirits of the wicked and the damned now wrecked havoc onto Danny's hometown of Amity Park.
Tasked with rounding up all the ghosts walking among the living, Danny tries to strike a delicate balance between his everyday life as a social outcast and his newfound life as a teenager superhero battling ectoplasmic monsters and his ghost hunter parents who are utterly unaware of their son's secret identity. But he can do it all.
