Summary
When the Trailblazers find Caelus alone and with no memory of how he arrived on the burning locomotive, they promise to help him restore his missing memories and rediscover his past identity. However, there's more to his condition beyond the memory loss; a cursed body coveted by Diamond of the Stonehearts. Enter Aventurine, a man able to effectively seize any opportunity presented to him. He charms his way aboard the Astral Express, intending to claim Diamond's promised favor for himself, but there's something about Caelus that has Aventurine uncharacteristically disarmed, and it's only a matter of time before his cunning plan becomes a deadline he is desperate to escape. All the while, the gang have a murder to solve, and behind the scenes, a plot on a cosmic scale moves ever closer to checkmate.

Summary
The newly inducted Stoneheart, Topaz, has her first ever chance to meet the rest of her associates, and she intends to take the opportunity to make connections and develop partnerships with her seniors. However, her fellow junior Stoneheart, Aventurine, advises she do just the opposite, and make herself as invisible as she can across the duration of the dinner party. Offended, she resolves to lean even harder into making a strong impression, but very soon she discovers Aventurine's advice had merit to it after all.

Summary
Supplementary content for "Stonewound Heart", the in-progress fic I'm currently working on. They are spoiler-free short stories looking at the lives of the cast from before the events of the main story, intended to just explore character dynamics and get a glimpse of the way they think and see the world. Primarily, these will center around three groups: the Stonehearts, the Stellaron Hunters, and the Trailblazers/Astral Express crew, but there will be a handful of appearances from minor/side characters too!
