Wherever the rest of Entrapta’s sentence is going to go, it falls away. The whole room falls away as understanding hits Catra like a bolt of lightning, an electrifying shock to her system that leaves her reeling. Getting married? Her and Adora? Summary

When Mahou Shoujo Shiny Chariot (the greatest magical girl anime to ever exist, obviously), was cancelled after four seasons, young Atsuko Kagari wasn't going to take that lying down. If Shiny Studios weren't gonna continue the story, then it was up to her to do it, through the magic of fan fiction!
Unfortunately, Akko is not very good at writing fanfic. Even more unfortunately, this fact was eventually noticed by LadyBeatrice, the most popular author in the entire Shiny Chariot fandom. Although if you ask Akko, her fics kinda suck anyway. Thus begins a mighty flamewar and a rivalry for the ages, which will definitely not develop into anything more. After all, what are the chances that they just happen to be going to the same university?

She rakes a gentle hand through Catra’s hair, the cut rough and ragged. She goes to cradle Catra’s face like she had on Horde Prime’s ship, to run a thumb across the sharp line of her jaw—
She stops. Maybe some things are still forbidden.

Summary
They stay that way for a long time, Catra’s face tucked into Adora’s shoulder, Adora gently cradling Catra’s head. Adora is careful not to hug Catra too hard or make her feel restrained, anticipating the moment that Catra will start to pull away — but Catra doesn’t. She hangs on so tightly it hurts, her claws digging through Adora’s jacket and into her back, latching into her like she did when she was a kitten and didn’t know how much her claws could hurt. Adora tries not to wince, tries not to move a single muscle, worried that if she does the spell will break and Catra will struggle away, appalled at having shown weakness.
But Catra doesn’t let go. And so neither does Adora.
