Summary
A girl wakes up one day on a train, having no clue how she wound up there or why. It takes her losing her mind, gaining it back and somehow getting adopted into a crazy family to discover just how far she's willing to go.
A small snippet of this story: 'How could a stranger be in the station? In her whole time riding the train, there had never been other people! She had started to wonder if others could even see the station doorways. Nobody ever followed her once she ducked into them.
At Alena's shocked face, the stranger gave her a smirk. He raised a hand and motioned for her to follow him. Then he walked away.'

Summary
The week they lost Ben was Klaus's breaking point. So late one night, 17 year old Klaus snuck away from the tower of terrors he was forced to call home. Years later, he learns of Reginald Hargreeves' death and decides it's finally time to put his old ghosts to bed. (Pun fully intended) Too bad his sidekick decided to sneak along for this not-so family friendly ride.
(This is an AU of season 1 where Klaus ran away as a teen. He's had a very different life since then and it likely shows. This work is also under reconstruction so edits will be made occasionally.)
