Summary
The day started… much too early and not so well to be honest. But a panic attack sure is a good substitute for coffee I guess, just not as enjoyable. These fit of terrors were nothing new to Atsushi, but the buildup anxiety over the past couple weeks has made the one right now a hell lot worse.
You see, today was his and Junichiro's first day on the real job as police rookies, after their year of police academy. And as much as Atsushi tried to ignore the nearing of this morning, the day has come, and Atsushi doesn’t feel ready. At all.
Or- Atsushi and Tanizaki are rookies. Kunikida is the only responsible officer and Dazai really is the last person to be trusted with a gun. What can go wrong when they get the power of being law enforcement….

Summary
It isn’t like he had never noticed the black haired boy before, of course he has. It was damn hard to oversee someone with this unfairly beautiful blue eyes, pale skin and elegant features like Sirius had them.
It’s just that everyone else has also noticed his friend, so Remus simply assumed that it was normal to think so. When anybody else admired his fellow, it seemed to be normal in his mind, like breathing or knowing who Merlin was. Who wouldn’t admire Sirius?
But apparently it wasn’t normal, the realisation of that hit him on a late afternoon in fall.
