Summary
Your simple life as an employee of what used to be an S-Mart is turned on its head when Evil incarnate is released upon the world.
In the attempt to stop it and save humanity, you’re accompanied by your close friend (who may or may not be infatuated with you), a drug addicted alcoholic bartender, and a chainsaw wielding maniac suspected of killing his own friends in a cabin thirty years ago.
As your reluctant friendship with the infamous Ashy Slashy of legend grows into something sweeter, you realize that your life has unwittingly become one hell of a romcom.

“C’mon now. I want you to tell me that you know you can be sad around me.”
“I know. I just don’t want to make you sad.”
He snorted. “Kid, I work in retail. It takes a lot to ruin my mood.”
“I know, I know. I just.. you’ve been through a lot, y’know? Even if you don’t talk about it. And I don’t want to make anything harder for you.”
“That was a long time ago.”
“We have a near death experience like once a week, so not really. But… I wish I coulda been there with you back then.. just so you weren’t alone.”
“You would have died,” he deadpanned, pulling up to the trailer.
“Well.. minus the dying part. I just wish you didn’t..” you yawned, “gotta be alone.. like that.. but. ‘M here now, and I hope that’s enough.”Aka: 5 times you confessed to Ash without realizing and one time you did.
Aka: 5 times Ash didn’t know what to do with a confession and one time he did.
