Dean chuckles. “Alright, alright, what is it? Have you finally figured out you’re too good for me or somethin’?”
Castiel groans. “You are… the most insufferable being I have ever encountered.” He pauses to watch Dean smile, thinking about how of all the wonders of the universe, that smile is the only one that has the power to make him feel warm on the inside. He suspects that many things can make humans feel warm, like watching a sunset or falling asleep in a lover’s arms. All at once, he is overwhelmed with a want stronger than ever before, so he blurts out, “I wish to give up my Grace.”
