One thing about the potion the fortune-teller didn’t seem to have told him is that it would only be activated if the person you love touches you. And, unfortunately, Sieun had been deeply wrong about his feelings for Suho.
“Do you remember those herbs I bought?” Sieun mewled, out of pain and desire. The ache between his thighs hurt. “I lied. We went to a fortune-teller and Juntae convinced me to get a love potion.”
Suho’s eyebrows raised, lower lip bitten raw from how much restraint he was showing to not roll his hips against Sieun.
“What?” Suho let out a soft laugh. “A love potion? You’re making no sense, Sieun-ah.”

“How’s it going?” And there’s his voice, low, raspy from disuse, but still his voice. That voice that Sieun would follow anywhere. Eurydice trailing Orpheus out of Hell. This time, no one will look back. This time, they go home.
“Good,” Sieun says, or tries to say. It’s more of a soft huff, because he can’t quite get his throat to unstick itself. Can’t quite remember how to form words. Suho’s eyes are smiling at him, so he thinks he understands.
They just stare. Drinking each other in. Somewhere in the near distance, a bird sings and quiets. Somewhere else, another one sings back.
