Summary
Sequel to “What Doesn’t Kill You”, part of my “Batfamily Omegaverse” series.
Tim’s been patient, more patient than anyone could reasonably expect, while Damian’s pre-presentation instincts spiral out of control. Beneath Damian’s overprotectiveness, micromanagement, and bossy exterior, Tim keeps catching flashes of something else..fear, anxiety, and a young boy on the edge of a change he can’t quite control. Finally, Damian’s presentation rut hits, sending the family reeling as everything changes for them once again.

Most people knew if they were going to be an alpha or omega by the time they were eleven or twelve, and their first cycle, heat or rut, soon after. Tim is an unwanted android, a Robo-Child. After being sent back by his parents, his last and only hope rests in the hands of a man still grieving the loss of his own son.
“I didn’t ask for a replacement,” Bruce barked. “I don’t want a replacement! You can go back and tell the RCO I don’t need a replacement.”
Bruce Wayne didn’t want him. If Bruce Wayne didn’t want him, he’d be sent back and dismantled.

Summary
Why is it always Tim that disappears? If it was any of the rest of them, it would be a lot less concerning. It’s not like Tim can’t hold his own in a fight — he’s a Bat, after all — but the kid has a tendency to form the craziest plans out of all of them, which often ends up putting him in the craziest situations. When Tim goes missing, it usually means he’s in some deep shit, and Tim in deep shit means Jason scrambling every time. Without fail. This fucking kid.
Tim is missing and his brothers track him down and bring him home. Also everybody loves each other and isn't so incredibly emotionally constipated because I just want them to be happy and because I'm the author and I said so.

Summary
In a moment of clarity, Tim remembers his emergency button. He remembers patrol, and he remembers a gang and a shootout.
He uses his free hand to fumble around until he manages to find the chest piece and press the emergency button. His vision is fuzzing at the edges and the last thing he sees is a dark figure leaning over him, a gun pointed at his face.
Well fuck, is his last thought before everything fades to black.
