Now, a wounded and poisoned Melinoë is forced to prepare for the Titan's devastating attack on the Crossroads.

Summary
For as long as she can remember, the Titan Chronos has waged war on the realms; and for as long as she can remember, Melinoe has trained to do one thing- kill him.
Killing Time is easier said than done, however, and rumor has it he's gained control of the three Fates; a death sentence for the forces of Olympus and the Crossroads, if true.
But as with all things the Fates have a hand in, the truth is more complicated than it may seem. Melinoe must navigate a war on three fronts to save the ones she loves most; all of Past, Present, and Future hang in the balance.

Slightly AU, effectively a canon rewrite of Hades II starting from midgame. Eventual MAJOR spoilers for certain character backstories, game events, etc. This should be about 7 chapters, ~30k words all said and done. Melinoe breaks her own code on a night when Time itself stops. She cuts the Titan down, and as her enemy dissolves into sand, Melinoe flickers across the Prince’s old bedroom, hauls the frozen body of Zagreus over her shoulders, and steps into the familiar dark. She does not cry from relief. This is not an emotional task. As the dusky cold of shadows closes over her, Melinoe only allows herself a single moment of surprise: Her brother’s hands are not the soft hands of a prince.
They are callused. Like her own.
