Summary
“What if I got caught by the other Harbinger?” It was a possibility—Lumine did not know what they were planning with her and how many of them were tasked to catch her.
“You won’t. They’re not assigned for this,” he replied lightly, and Lumine was not sure how much of truth contained there. “Does that answer satisfy you?”
"Just... one last question," she replied. “What’s in it for you?”
And as though pointing out the most obvious thing, Childe replied lightly.
“You.”
in the land of snow, the chase began.

Summary
Trouble never seemed far off when Childe was around. For the most part, Lumine didn't mind that. Kept things interesting, for sure. Usually, their mutual brand of mayhem looked like epic battles against hilichurls and eldritch horrors from Abyss. But the moment Childe sheepishly croaked out "my parents think we're dating," Lumine just knew that they had stumbled head first into a new form of danger. Sadly, this one wasn't one they could stab their way out of.
Though frankly if this fake dating thing didn't go well, Lumine wasn't above trying it.

Summary
“Don’t follow me, Ajax.” A stern warning.
“Did you say follow me? Well, if you insist, what else can I do but say—”
Lumine clicked her tongue. “Archons’ sake! You’re so annoying. What are you? In love with me or something?”
“—Yes,” then he paused as the question sank unto him, “to the both of that.”
Lumine found it pointless to count the years in her unchanging life, but she got herself counting for his as life kept on tying their paths together in one tight knot.

Summary
His face was placid, satisfied, even though she had him pinned to the wall. He looked down at her through his lashes, daring her to come closer. To show the emotion he so craved from her—any emotion other than that cool front she had been putting up for weeks on end.
“Don’t play these games with me,” she breathed, her voice low and chiding.
To that, he scoffed. Laughed, even. “You set the board. I’m just a player.”
Lumine had the school heartthrob, their star basketball player, wrapped around her finger. She found it intoxicating to watch him reel beneath her, coming undone at the flick of her wrist. She was a nobody in the eyes of the general public, yet she found herself in a position to be everything to him.
Unfortunately for her, Childe soon finds out that two can play this game.
