Summary
Based in the 1930s prior to the events of the Cuphead game.
A Human AU of Cuphead from my noggin initially inspired by the Casino Cups comics by Brightgoat and their characterization of Wheezy and Chips that made me grow fond of the two and their dynamic.
I never see fics focusing on these two developing their relationship and rather just jump straight into them already together, so I decided to scratch that itch in my brain and write my own headcannoned fic of these two. Focusing on how they met, the slow burn of them eventually becoming friends and then slowly into that developing into a relationship.
I'm already like several chapters deep with no clue how long this'll be. I just really liked the characters and ship so there's a lot of stuff regarding like my headcannoned backstories for them, their families, and more focused on just them over like the Casino or other characters.
I'm basically catching up to eventually Cuphead and Mugman working at the casino, but I just really like Chips and Wheezy and writing this long ass fic.Bookmarked by Dev_m00nstar

Summary
Thought, why not, and decided to start this alongside the fic I'm still updating about Chips and Wheezy. This is going to be in the same timeline and universe as my other fic except now in the perspective of King Dice and the Devil rather than Chips and Wheezy and focusing on their relationship this time.
Idk why but I always imagined King and the Devil's relationship being borderline toxic mainly due to both being emotionally closed off or bad at communication. I never liked when people made King like a streotype of a gay guy and made their relationship kind of weird. So I'm writing my take on it.
This is a human au, like my other fic, and is inspired by Casino Cups along with my own headcannons. I don't know how long this one will be or if it'll be as long as my other one (since ChipsxWheezy was always my number 1 ship) but I always liked Devildice.
