Joseph 'Giuseppe' Splint, hapless son to a domineering Italian stay-at-home mother and an English civil servant father, is four years old when the shoe he'd been waiting for finally drops and he realises the seemingly innocuous world he was reborn in is the Street Fighter one. Which is honestly fine by him; he's going to get the opportunity to learn cool magic kung-fu nonsense, and there are definitely worse places to be. After all, he only really knows anything about Street Fighter from cultural osmosis and memes, but it's one of those more feel-good series where the good guys broadly win and without too many wacky world-at-stake shenanigans, right?
