Seokjin loved his King, loved him as much as any citizen could love their King, but he did not desire him. He was like a deity to Seokjin, but that didn’t mean he was comfortable with the way he spoke about him in front of all those people, like he was one of his offered wives that came carrying a dowry when he was nothing of the sort. He was a knight, with over a year of war under his belt and the many years of training and battle that came before it.
He was not meant to be kept, regardless of his gender. He was meant to fight and die for their Kingdom, and to have a wife that would bear a son that would do the same.

Jin may feel like it's the end of his quiet, yet grandiose life as he knows it, but if there is one thing to concede to Kim Seokjin, it's that he never gives up without a fight.
He has a lot of tricks up his sleeves.

Seokjin is afraid of the prince.

This began as a one-shot and now spans three years follow Jin and Jungkook's relationship from college out into the real world.
