“Bobby-” Cal didn't even finish calling out his name before the man slammed the car door shut and made his way to greet the couple with a smile, like he wasn't angry minutes earlier.
Cal sighed, rubbing his face hard. He didn't know what he has to do to prove to Bobby that he loved him truly and wasn't ashamed of him. Perhaps telling him why he was so scared of telling his family might wash away his fears and have him finally understand why he can't do it.
But he just couldn't do it. Whatever he did, it seemed liked it was the wrong thing.
Jesus, he couldn't do anything right, could he?
