"What do you mean people with suits are looking for me? Why would they need me? You're the Sheriff." Carefully pulling the next looping stitch through the small laceration on the little boy's arm.
"Yeah.. well they have some official looking files with them, so I would hurry up what you're doing and get here before they sniff you out at your clinic.”
Finishing another stitch, he grumbled, "Give me ten minutes and I'll be there, just stall them Mike. You're good at that."

“Lightning, listen to me very carefully.” Cal ordered, looking at his friend to make sure he was paying attention, “I need you to look out the door for the first person you can find and tell them to go get my uncle and tell him code blue.” It was the stupid code word that he and Strip had made up when Cal was younger and didn’t like to be so open about when he was feeling a seizure coming. He would just tell his aunt or uncle code blue and they would know. It had stuck in the pits because of the simplicity. “Then I need you to come back in here and sit next to me, okay.” His face was starting to numb. He could feel his hand twitching slightly. He didn’t have much time.
Lightning looked scared, but he nodded. “Okay.”-or-
Cal has epilepsy. He’s not very open about it because it’s a more personal thing to him. He had struggled with accepting it growing up and being different, making him hesitant about sharing this part of him.

The snake struck out. Cal quickly whipped his hand back, forgetting where he was. His balance slipped as he cursed in fear. The snake didn’t bite him, but he was falling. Sliding down the rock, trying to catch his grip on anything he could. He could feel his skin tearing as he got caught on the rock side. His feet and hands scrambled for any sort of grip before he hit the ground. He could hear concerned shouting from above him and beneath him.Cal lurched forwards, trying to take hold of the rock wall.
His face smashed against a ledge that was jutting out. Pain exploded through his mouth and Cal screamed, his body hitting the floor with a sickening thud. He instantly curled around himself, the wind knocked from his lungs. His body was burning all over from the cuts and scrapes, but nothing was as bad as his face. His entire mouth was throbbing in excruciating agony.-or-
The boys and their crew chiefs decide to go on a camping trip. It can’t be that bad… right? Wrong.
