He’s wanted to talk about it for a long, long time but didn’t know who to talk to because everyone he knows is a common friend of theirs, because who in their right mind would take his side in this mess when Edward looks so damn happy, when he’s always been the nice and funny one and Israel the grumpy, short-fused buzzkill. It’s easier to speak to someone he barely knows, and Sam is a good listener.
