Or: Keith's views on relationships are skewed, Shiro's dated many but never anyone quite like Keith, and they weren't supposed to fall this fast or this deep, but oops.

Summary

Summary
Keith’s twenty-two, and he’s seen enough war and death to last him a lifetime. He’s done enough mourning and grieving than feels fair, and he just can’t do it anymore.
There’s so many things he hasn’t done that he wants now with an intensity he’s never known. Keith wants what other people had growing up— stability, normalcy, monotony. He wants to do things like play board games, take his dog on walks, and have a beer. He wants time to waste carelessly, and not have to worry that death is right around any corner.
