Johnny turned his head and nearly choked on his gum. Standing in the aisle like he’d just seen a ghost was none other than Daniel freakin’ LaRusso.
“Oh, come on,” LaRusso said finally, hands flopping dramatically at his sides. “What is he doing here?”
Johnny raised his eyebrows, biting back a smirk. “What am I doing here? I could ask you that. I was here first, princess.”
LaRusso looked at Mr. Miyagi, wide-eyed and utterly betrayed. “You invited him?”
“Hai. No need for drama.”
“No need for—” LaRusso stopped and tried again. “He... he’s like... he bullied me, remember that?”
Johnny groaned. “Oh my god. That was, like, months ago. Get over it, LaRusso.”
All Johnny meant to do was thank Mr. Miyagi for saving his life. He didn’t expect it to turn into an accidental trip to Okinawa with Daniel LaRusso.
