Once apart of five powerful beings who fell from grace, purified to be gifted to five other worthy creatures to create peace on Earthbread and to lead cookiekind to enlightment yadah yadah yadahEveryone has heard it
However...
While divine, Soul Jam has pretty...Bad effects upon a regular cookie's body, a sudden switch from mortal to IMMORTAL couldn't be pleasent - Well maybe not present in the begining but such effects appear in many forms: Cracking of the dough, discolouring of the fur/scales...Issues normal mortals would be fine with because at least there was an end to their life..Not to the Soul jam holders though -

Although all of it weighed heavily on both his shoulders and heart: He was still a kid after all and yet when he got out of that oven..The world had given him nothing to make him feel safe, even if he had his friends..He felt tense but he wanted to roam and find an actual safe space
And because of his hidden fear of everything, he set off by himself..Getting lost in the vastness of the woods before settling down under some leaves and..Weeping, weeping for he didn’t know what but it felt better
In such trying times, the only one that truly understands you..Is your enemy

The room is too bright.
It’s quaint, in a nauseating sort of way. Polished floors glint from the gleaming honeycomb chandeliers overhead, make him squint. A few vases sprinkled here and there, filling the room with a sickeningly sweet scent – even a waffle-cone headrest framing the silken sheets of a neatly-tucked bed. Outside, the golden sun gleams, the gentle rays of light spilling past curtains that waver in the afternoon breeze.
It's meant to be beautiful. Luxurious. Welcoming.
With one sweep of his cane, Shadow Milk tears it apart.
