The thing was, Rumi really didn’t want her friends to find out about her dating Jinu. For a number of reasons, of course. Being a literal demon topped the list, but there were others too. That was why she and Jinu had been so careful with keeping their relationship a secret.
Rumi and Jinu kept holing themselves up in Rumi’s bedroom late at night for secrecy. As safely as possible. No mistakes. No slipups. Rumi was always able to peel Jinu away and throw him off the balcony before Mira and Zoey would even dream about getting up.
They really should have considered the possibility that one day they would wear themselves out and sleep in.
Like today.
