Unfortunately for Suki, in the time they had been sprinting, a wall had snuck up on them, and she ran headfirst into it. The next thing she knew, she was flat on her back with a hand in her face, offering to help her up. She grabbed it, trying to suppress the shiver that ran down her spine at the cold surrounding them.
“You need better shoes, you know,” Yue said, face straight except for the faintest twitch around her eyes that belied her amusement. “Luckily for you, I have an extra pair in my room.”

“Well, we got trees and we are right here, so we should be able to make something work for you guys today. I’m Mac,” he introduced himself, focusing very hard on getting his words out in the correct order. “I’m just the guy who ties things down, so feel free to look around, and give a holler when you find a tree you like, or if you have any questions.”
