Summary
Alpha Chief Steve and an Omega, Bucky were a mated pair of lycans; mated since they were old enough to be allowed to in the White Star tribe. When Bucky went missing, a suspected victim of a vampire attack, Steve grieved over him and their broken bond. He was sure Bucky was dead.
Years later, Steve leads his pack on an assault against the vampire coven responsible for his mate's death.
Inside, they discover a dungeon where a vampire is being tortured.

Steve and Bucky had always fit together like two pieces of the same puzzle. Bucky's recovery was going well, even after the events in Washington DC and Wakanda, but he was still missing things, bits and pieces of his memory and an empty feeling in his chest. Maybe their ragged edges just need a little bit of filing down to fit back together again.

Valentine’s Day. It wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t for his roommate. Mister Steve Artist Scholarship, Free Ride, Fucking Asshole, Hipster Shitbag, Rogers. For the most part, Bucky Barnes could ignore his roommate. He stayed on his side of the dorm room – which may as well have been a masturbatory aid for the amount of awards, framed art, and shit that he hung up on the wall – and Bucky stayed on his. It was another Christmas Eve in New York City. Snow was falling gently to the ground, glittering in the streetlamps, and beyond the light pollution in Soho, Steve Rogers was sure the stars were twinkling brightly in the sky of the early evening. He could hear Christmas music being played from nearby storefronts, combining into a pleasant mix of tinkling bells and familiar tunes. It was romantic. Or it would have been if Steve had anyone to share it with. Sure, he had his team, and his best friend, but there was a cloying emptiness inside of his chest that seemed to only widen into a bottomless chasm around this time of year.
