Summary
“Oi, you alright?” Louis asks, stepping closer to the tree and craning his neck upwards painfully as he looks at the boy fifteen feet up in the branches. “Could you please climb down before you hurt yourself?”
“You’re supposed to save me,” the boy answers, his voice slow and molten in a way Louis isn’t sure is just from the alcohol. “Come save me, please.”

Summary
“If you hadn’t noticed, I don’t have many friends,” Louis whispers, the blossom of insecurity in his stomach unfurling and clawing its way into his throat.
Harry is silent for a long time, and then he speaks; a soft, slow uncurl that makes Louis’ stomach shake. “I’ll be your friend.”

Summary
Harry thought he had a handle on things. He hasn’t gotten papped in over a month, even the most zealous of fans have given up on finding his location, the Fortress is starting to look hospitable, and Niall just learned how to make shrimp bisque. Even having a massive crush on a gorgeous mythical woodland creature was working out for him.
Most of the time.
On March 31st, Harry Styles disappears. Though many speculate, only two people know where to find him: Niall, his former guitarist, and Zayn, who follows where Niall leads.
The fact the biggest boy band in the world broke up two weeks earlier might be related to the disappearance. The fact Harry meets a fairy named Louis in the woods is a whole other matter.

Summary
“Why only 28 days? Why not 30 or something?” he questions, getting more and more convinced.
“It took 28 days for Harry Styles to consider, plan, and go through with his suicide. You are going to go back to the first day he started to think about it, and within those 28 days, you will change his mind.” Demise responds with both palms facing the sky as he moves them apart casually.
Nothing he’s saying is casual.
“And if I don’t?” he finally voices the question that’s been plaguing him since he started considering this. His palms are super sweaty, despite the freezing temperature, and he gnaws on his bottom lip while his anxiety eats away at him.
“Well, Louis Tomlinson, let’s hope we don’t have to find that out. Okay?”
Or, an au where Louis goes back 28 days to stop Harry from killing himself.

Summary
Dear Niall,
I was glad to have the chance to talk with you again at the AHA conference. Your idea that the Musee D’Orsay Tomlinson painting is in fact not a self-portrait is an intriguing one, and I may have discovered something that will have a bearing on that theory.
Some background: as you may remember, I’ve been researching for a book I’m writing about Harry Styles. I’ve been in communication with Styles’ last living descendant, who is in possession of a trunk that her family believed to have belonged to Styles himself. It held some personal items she presumes to be his, including two unmounted paintings and a small collection of letters.
Upon spending the last few days in Provins studying these items, I believe there to be a connection between Tomlinson and Styles, and I would very much like your opinion.
Are you up for a trip to France?
Sincerely,
Liam PayneWhere Liam and Niall are art historians discovering the truth about two nineteenth century painters on opposite sides of an artistic divide.

Summary
Louis knows about beauty; the combination of qualities that pleases the aesthetic senses. He creates that combination every day in the garments he designs while studying fashion at uni. The cut of the design, the color of the fabric, the intricacy of the stitching; it all comes together to create something beautiful. When the science student with the long legs and dimpled smile agrees to model for him, Louis decides he’s found beauty personified. Harry just thinks Louis needs someone to show him how beautiful he is.
