Summary

Theo is found in what remains of a hunters compound after going missing for two years. He’s scared, tormented, and nothing like the manipulative, self righteous boy they’d met years prior. Liam is desperate to help restore Theo to the person he’d just started to become, but quickly realizes that the trauma Theo experienced by the hands of his captors will make that task difficult, if not impossible, especially as a war looms and the pack scrambles to get their bearings.

He was running away again, Liam had probably always been running away, and Theo realized he'd never said what from, not out loud, not to Corey, not to Liam, not even to himself.
Theo stopped suddenly, looking at Liam for a second, already at the edge of the woods, before speaking.
"I know your father beats you."
