Summary
Some filler in between episodes 6 and 7 in season 1 detailing the team's recovery after the factory attack gone wrong. It picks up almost immediately where episode 6 ends, the team is on their way to Paris with Harry injured in the back seat and Neil suffering in the front. A lot of fluff, friendship, and Aurora being both a strong and caring leader because she is awesome. I know I'm about four years too late with this, but I've re-watched the entire series recently and now that I've finished it, I am once again bored and this is the product of that boredom.

Summary
Instead of Shane, it is Ilya who suffers a concussion during the Boston-Montreal game in April 2017. Dazed and agitated, Ilya briefly starts speaking and responding only in Russian and the medics can’t calm him down. Luckily, Shane started studying Russian after Ilya spoke to him in Russian on the phone from Moscow. For no particular reason. Certainly not because he’s fallen in love with Ilya Rozanov.
In Montreal with lingering concussion symptoms, Ilya is advised not to fly home for a few days, and the hospital won’t release him without assurances that he has someone to stay with him until his symptoms improve. Luckily, Shane conveniently has a condo in Montreal no one knows about and a few days before he has to travel again.
But Ilya’s symptoms don’t resolve after a few days. Which is okay; Shane can handle it. He can take care of Ilya, study Russian, lead his team into the playoffs, and keep Ilya’s continued presence in Montreal a secret. He can do everything, no problem. He is Shane Hollander after all.

Summary
"His skates edge caught wrong, shifted his weight, and he fucking fell down. The world tilted just enough.
That’s all it took. One bad second. One bad angle. The puck sliding away like it was never his to begin with.
He swallows hard, throat tight.
I lost them the Cup.
The words belong to himself. They’re just there, sitting in his chest.
Why—
“What the fuck was that, Hollander?”"

Summary
“See you back here then?”
Buck had just smiled, that damned half smile he always gave John. Smiled and tilted his head. “Don’t count on it.” He’d pat John on the shoulder and walked off to his plane.
John scoffs and shakes his head. He had counted on it. In fact, he always did.
OR: Gale coming back injured from a mission forces John and Gale to start thinking about what they actually mean to each other.
Lots of angst, lots of whump and lots of hurt/comfort. Lots of yearning, and LOTS OF LOVE.Bookmarked by Dobbys777thSock
