"Nicky's phone, Andrew speaking. To what do we owe the pleasure?"
"Did you find him?" Nicky cut in, absolutely no patience left for his cousin's games. "Please tell me he's okay."
The way Wymack sighed made it sound like the weight of the world had fallen on his shoulders. "Yeah, I found him. We're at the hospital now and they're getting him stabilized. I got to him just in time, Nicky. They don't think he would have made it if it would have been much longer."
In this timeline, Seth's nearly-dying brain reached out for the person he felt safest with. In this timeline, Nicky fights for Seth in ways few people ever had before. In this timeline, things might turn out okay.

Summary
'Magnolia Recovery and Wellness Center'.
An overly fancy name for an overly fancy rehab, if you'd asked Seth, but he made the best of it, as much as he could. Some of it was fucking stupid, sure, but he was genuinely trying to get better. Even before Riko had attempted to take him out, he was finally trying, so he made it work at Magnolia and he had to admit it ended up not being an entirely terrible time.It was, however, entirely too fucking long a time. Eight whole fucking months went by before he got the call from Wymack.
"It's over Seth. Riko's dead. Like dead dead. You don't have to pretend to be anymore."
OR
What happens when Seth spends 8 months working on himself and comes back to the Foxes to repeat his fifth year, and what could he ever have done to deserve the people he had in his life after everything he's put them through? (He learns his worth)

Summary
Seemingly from out of nowhere, Scar asked, “Do you ever think about how things might have been different if you’d been raised down here?"
Steb’s ears twitched and he ducked his head a little shyly. “I’ve thought about that a lot actually. I know it’s probably not something I should dwell on, but sometimes I can’t help but imagine what my childhood might have been like instead."
"Do you think we might have been friends?”
Steb smiled at the thought. He could even see it in his head; his younger self, running through the streets of Zaun with what he imagined Scar looked like as a kid. Them on some rooftop, overlooking the Lanes at night, everything lit up in a mess of colors and the sounds of a lively night-life floating up to them as they laughed at something together. Doing something stupid and hanging their heads as they were reprimanded, but later plotting how to do it again without getting caught.
“I think we would have been great friends.”Or: After learning he'd been fed lies his entire life, and wracked with guilt for what he'd done as an enforcer, Steb cuts all ties in Piltover and sets out to find his family in Zaun to build a new life for himself.

Summary
Charles Rowland had never been the kind of person to really sit down and examine his feelings. He was generally aware of how he felt toward certain people, or things, or situations, what-have-you. But to spend more than a passing thought actually trying to parse things out on a deeper level? That just wasn’t something he did.
But when his best mate of over thirty years and veritable afterlife partner stopped him on the stairway out of Hell to tell him he’s in love with him, Charles decided that’s exactly what he needed to do.

Summary
Albert and Eddie both looked across the park then, where Buck was still playing with Chris and Denny, and Eddie’s heart warmed as he saw him “help” Chris across the monkey-bars, even though they all knew he was just holding him up in the air to mimic the sensation. Albert turned back to Eddie and asked, “Have you ever thought about bringing another child into the picture?”
Eddie shook his head and chuckled. “Oh no. That hasn’t even crossed my mind. I mean, it’s been hard enough raising Chris without his mother. I’m sure he would love having a sibling, but I don’t think I’m anywhere near ready to take that kind of responsibility on again, especially not alone.”
“Well, you wouldn’t be alone exactly.” Albert cocked his head to the side in confusion and gestured toward Buck and his son again. “You’d have Buck.”
Or, Albert thinks Eddie and Buck are together and it forces Eddie to get some perspective. -

Summary
It was all Chimney’s fault.
He took it upon himself to schedule a “mandatory team outing” and thought it would be a great idea to drag everyone to a karaoke bar with the hopes of getting everyone to loosen up. Eddie tried everything to get out of it, but Chimney - the mastermind he was - debunked every excuse he tried to come up with and showed up at his house the night of to make sure he was actually coming.
Or, Eddie sings 'Red Dirt, Blue Eyes' by Dustin Lynch and Buck sings 'Boys' by Lizzo as a way to tell each other how they feel toward each other.

Summary
“So, sweet baby brother - he who thought he would know by age 19 if he weren’t straight - when did it finally hit you?” Maddie teased over glasses of wine in Buck’s living room. “A year ago? A month? Yesterday?”
“Junior year of college.”
Maddie whipped her head around comically. “You’re joking.”
He shook his head, smirking. “Nope. Took until about the end of the year to really hit home, but I think the whole ‘enjoying sex with men’ thing is what finally did it.”
Buck didn’t realize Maddie’s eyes could get that large until that moment. He could almost see the gears turning in her pretty little head.
“Devin.” It was the only thing she said, and it came after an excruciating full two minutes of silence.
Or, an in-depth look into that scene from "When it Started" about Buck's college roommate and their little exploration into the depths of human sexuality.

Summary
If anyone would ask Buck, he might say it all started the day Eddie’s not-so-ex-wife up at the firehouse to confront him.
If Carla caught Buck at the right moment, he’d probably admit that it actually started the day Eddie ended up bringing Christopher to the firehouse.
If Hen ever asked him, with that look in her eye that Buck could never give a name to, he would likely agree that it started getting a little out of hand for him the night he and Eddie took Christopher to see Santa.
If Maddie were to push him on the matter, he’d have to admit that it really started to click for him the night she called him out on it.
When Eddie asked him when it all started, Buck had to be honest with himself.
