Summary
John had made peace with hell. Then Gale arrived, all clarity and stillness, and John was thrown into a despair almost ecstatic: a damned man who, for the first time, longed to be saved.
After Curt Buddick’s death, John sets down his own rules: keep Buck close by day, guard his secret at night. Because Gale Cleven isn’t the only one whose closest friend is a painful echo of his father.

Summary
He had long since guessed the direction of John’s desires. What he had never measured was their end: whether they were innocent or desperate. Their depth he no longer doubted.
After Curt Buddick’s death, Gale must decide whether to keep occupying the seat John always leaves open for him. John’s promises—London, poetry, even survival—are wagers staked on Gale alone. And Gale has to choose whether to keep playing.

Summary
It was, in sequence, shocking, repulsive, and unmistakably wrong on so many levels. Yet Gale couldn’t tear his eyes away from him. No one noticed; everyone else was staring too.
***
John Egan is an erotic performer. Gale Cleven is a lawyer assigned to babysit important clients during their wild nights. Their story begins in a downtown club at midnight, bathed in an impossibly blue light.

Lamb is once again called to save River’s ass after Donovan’s downfall. This time, though, he seems more inclined to reach for it with his own hands.

This time, I’m definitely writing River and Lamb having sex. It’s a promise.

Summary
Bucky pauses, mug raised halfway to his mouth. “You’re not waiting for marriage, are you?”
Gale snaps his mouth shut, looking away. “It’s proper, John,” he tells him under his breath.
“Oh my god,” Bucky says and he really has no business looking so shocked. “But you have- You’ve done it before, right?” He leans forward, eyes wide and bright.
Gale clenches his jaw, the embarrassment curling in his stomach.
Bucky’s mouth falls open. “Saint Gale Cleven,” he drawls, shaking his head. “She slapping your fingers black and blue every time you meet up?” He asks.
OR it takes Gale 7 years to figure out that he loves him

Summary
Since the first shards of flak struck Alex’s Mustang his mind and body could not stop moving—racing, calculating—so he spent his days limping and shaking, gritting his teeth. Categorizing and repeating everything he had learned:
The guards were predictable once you knew what to look for.
The routine of prisoner-of-war life was lousy but survivable with certain strategies.
Egan and Cleven weren’t gonna survive the winter.
______
Or,
Alex tries to make sense of life at Stalag III, but the two majors from the Hundredth throw a wrench in things.

Summary
Confronted with the reminder that he had actually come here for some other purpose than to stand at the bar and flirt with Buck, the conspiratorial intimacy of the moment started to dissipate into the air around them with each jibe, remiss as Bucky was to let it go.
Contrary to popular belief, John Egan's capable of both waiting and working for the things he truly wants.
…………………………………..
Bucky’s a (mostly) okay veteran-turned-firefighter, Buck’s the best teetotal bartender this side of town. Spoiler: they fall in love.
