Kinger, who didn’t attend the adventure, almost gets attacked, but Caine saves him, at the expense of his own code. But of course, he wanted to keep the one who created him safe, even if Kinger didn’t remember most of the time.

Abel takes this as proof that Caine is still non-sentient and bound by his programming, and determined to awaken him, but little does anyone know, Caine already has.

Summary
Pomni hates him. In her short time in this digital purgatory, she’s already lost a friend, her name, her body — and soon she fears she’ll lose her mind. Caine’s to blame for it all, and his happy and bubbly demeanor only pushes Pomni closer to the brink. After a particularly awful adventure, the troubled jester decides to confront Caine about the horrors he puts her and the others through each day. But to Pomni’s surprise, Caine submits and agrees; he can do better, and insists that he wants to. This marks the beginning of Pomni and Caine’s “super secret adventures”, where Caine desperately tries to understand his human guests better.
