“Tonight,” Edelgard says.
Byleth stops flicking her lighter. One of her eyebrows is arched. She’s shocked. “Tonight?”
“Tonight,” Edelgard affirms. “I want them both.”
The lighter clicks again, and this time, it catches. “Tonight,” Byleth repeats, blowing out a puff of smoke. Then she turns her head toward Edelgard, and the look on her face is glorious. Her pink mouth is pulled into a smirk, her big blue eyes sparkling with mischief, calm and affable but undeniably hungry. “Okay.” She’s quiet for a moment, her blue brow briefly tensing. “We’ll have to change the sheets.”
It's been ages since Edelgard's been able to let her hair down, and she was sure a night of clubbing and grinding on her stupid hot girlfriend would fix her. But this "little pregaming sesh" at Dimitri and Felix's apartment has turned into a full-on party, and Edelgard's hopes for a fun night out are high-siding toward disaster. Making matters worse, Dorothea’s being unbelievably extra, Petra's oddly evasive, and Byleth’s been even more smug than usual. Either Edelgard's going to kill these women, or they'll be the death of her.
Or, Edelgard tries not to have a foursome.
