She's been playing villains in countless stories.
Yet never before has she seen a protagonist this persistent.

Summary
Kronii held her hands shakily upon the basin, heaving and coughing up mouthful after mouthful of petals. She held a hand up to her face, wiping away a streak of blood that begun to drip down her lip. The bright blue petal laying in the sink seemed to taunt her as if it were waving a piece of steak in front of a hungry dog.
The blood was still wet and warm on the edges and made her grit her jaw as if someone had just pinched her.
She'd shoved the petal into her pocket and ignored the burning sensation in her chest. It was a horrible, horrible reminder of the cause of her current predicament. Tough luck, that'd she had fallen for someone so...likable.
(Rewritten and revised, so it's not that horrible.)
