The one where the Creature enters Elizabeth's room on the wedding night first, instead of Victor's.
“Take me with you,” Elizabeth pleaded. There was a growing commotion approaching, even as her maid fled the room. “Don’t leave me.”
Don’t leave me behind, she thought. Not here, not with the hollow men and sycophants who surrounded her. Elizabeth had prayed for a sign all that time ago whether she was making the right choice, and here he was in front of her, looking as though he couldn’t believe she was real.

The bullet does not find Elizabeth's stomach. Instead, the creature's arm saves her from certain death and absconds with her from the Frankenstein household. It's in a cave in the wilderness that she acts upon the desires she first felt in the culvert beneath Victor's laboratory.
